When two makers shared a kiln
Softwheel grew from a shared kiln lease between two ceramicists who wanted more teaching hours and fewer waiting lists. Today we run try sessions, weekend courses and evening series, and we welcome open-studio members who already know the basics.
Our approach is patient and hands-on: we demonstrate, then you throw. Feedback is specific. Glazes are tested. Pieces leave the kiln with notes, not mysteries.
